TEDxRyersonU – Dr. Ivan Joseph — The Skill of Self Confidence
As the Athletic Director and head coach of the Varsity Soccer team at Ryerson University, Dr. Joseph is often asked what skills he is searching for as a recruiter: is it speed? Strength? Agility? In Dr. Joseph’s TEDx Talk, he explores self confidence and how it is not just the most important skill in athletics, but in our lives. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Chrys Ghiraldini is a Chiropractor, Easy Stress Solutions, How De-Stress Expert
easystresssolutions.com “Remove Stress in Less Than A New York Minute” Dr. Chrys Ghiraldini is a Chiropractor, with over 10 years of experience in family practice. Her Easy Stress Solutions protocol helps stressed out/burned out professionals to release their stress easily and quickly so that they sleep better, have more energy, increase their productivity and enjoy a better quality of life.
By addressing all 3 components of Health simultaneously, the Creative/Spiritual, the Emotional, and the Physical aspects, the stress release is permanent. Her core belief is that energy misalignment is the cause of all dis-eases, and that most, if not all, of our diseases start with unprocessed or suppressed emotions. She has studied Homeopathy, Herbs and Energy Healing for the last 20 years.
Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT EFT, created by Gary Craig, is a technique to restore the energy flow along the meridians in your body. EFT’s premise is that all negative emotions, and dis-ease states, are caused by an energy disruption along the meridians (energy lines running on our bodies). …
How To Handle Fear?
Realize that the voices in our heads are not us. It is our survival brain (i.e. our Amygdala) talking. Its job is to keep us safe and to keep us away from danger. Again, this is not us.
Accept that fear will be there when we are working on anything that would result in us changing—learning something new, creating something unique, losing weight, writing a book, gaining weight, marketing ourselves, improving a relationship, meeting a new person. Anticipate that our minds will be there trying to stir up resistance. Accept, anticipate and prepare for it.

Diet And Panic Attack Facts
Diet Helps Eliminate Anxiety
A proper diet helps eliminate panic and anxiety…
1. Water
There is no quicker way to reduce general anxiety than practicing proper eating and drinking habits. One of the most easily implemented and effective additions to your diet is fresh water. Water is a great thirst quencher — but more importantly it is a helpful tool as an anxiety cure.
Nearly every function of the body is related to the efficient flow of water through our system. Water transports hormones‚ chemical messengers‚ and nutrients to vital organs and systems of the body. When we don’t keep our bodies well hydrated‚ they may react with a variety of signals such as anxiety‚ which we would never think are related to our poor drinking habits.

Panic Attack – Info & Advice
What Causes A Panic Attack?
The World Health Organization says this about panic disorders: “The essential feature is recurrent attacks of severe anxiety (panic), which are not restricted to any particular situation or set of circumstances and are therefore unpredictable. As with other anxiety disorders, the dominant symptoms include sudden onset of palpitations, chest pain, choking sensations, dizziness, and feelings of unreality (depersonalization or derealization). There is often also a secondary fear of dying, losing control, or going mad. Panic disorder should not be given as the main diagnosis if the patient has a depressive disorder at the time the attacks start; in these circumstances the panic attacks are probably secondary to depression.”
